The Power of “Thank You”
Today, the day before Thanksgiving, is a short work day for many in the United States. We leave early to take care of last-minute preparations for our holiday celebration — or travel to see people we miss. Some offices close early while others are in the thick of Black Friday preparation – their busiest day of the year.
Before you leave today — no matter what time that is — you may want to do one more thing. Take advantage of a great time to say “Thank you!”
Pick up the phone or send a quick email to a client, vendor, partner or employee. You may want to touch base with an industry friend or mentor.
Keep it simple – and genuine. People appreciate knowing their contributions are valued and remembered.
Perhaps someone will return the favor next year. Wouldn’t that be nice?
Until we meet again,
